How difficult are my first semester classes?

PoliSci 101
Econ 101
Math 105
Span 232 (4th term spanish)

just wondering...

I would avoid taking ECON and MATH in the same semester unless quantitative reasoning/math courses are your strengths. Other than that, your schedule looks good.

^ what misguided advice…

There is absolutely nothing quantitative about undergraduate econ (graduate econ aka real econ is a different story) and econ 101 is about as qualitative as it gets. Math 105 is also math for people who cant do math…

^^

well, that’s good! I would hate having 2 math intensive courses at once.

I’d rate them as not difficult. You should be fine and should have a lot of time to participate heavily in extracurriculars.

Whoops, I didn’t notice that it was MATH 105 instead of 115. You should be okay then.

econ 101 is a breeze if you’re a good reasoning person and understand what the areas under the graphs mean.
It shouldn’t be too bad for you. :)

Sounds like a good load.
