<p>Hey, my name is Alex and I'm going to be a senior in high school this coming august, so as you can assume I will soon begin to apply to colleges. I plan to apply to Ole Miss, Asu, UofA (arizona), and The University of Southern California. So my question is how hard is it to join or pledge to a fraternity? I really want to go to Ole Miss for the Greek life, but would I be at a disadvantage being out of state? and to make matters worse I am from Latino decent. So would that make it an even bigger challenge to join a fraternity in the south? It shouldn't really be that big of a problem at the PAC-12 schools. Thanks!</p>
<p>It depends on the chapter. Some are ridiculously exclusive due to history and prestige, some have ridiculously dangerous hazing where only the strongest make it through, and some are not difficult to get into.</p>
