How do colleges look at Honors Classes?

Hey how do colleges look at honors classes?
Like, for example, i don’t want to take some of the AP classes and I take an honors class that I actually want to take…

It depends if AP is offered in that subject. For example, if you only have regular and honors chemistry at your school, then honors will look good. However, if you also have AP Chem., honors won't look as good.

How about if I was planning to take AP english Language and composition and because of a schedule conflict, I had to switch to English III honors. Is that something worth mentioning? if so, where?

I'm sure there is. I had a similar problem and my GC said I shouldn't be penalized if it was impossible for me to take the AP.

Like I have choices for AP stat, micro and macro, and chem....but I just want to take H. Organic Chem?

bumpage wumpage

one last time for me..please...bump

Ya...how would a college feel if you took an honors class, instead of an AP. I mean you did challenge yourself, just not to the max, which a college is probably looking for. At my school there are either AP or regular classes.
