<p>if it is a commonapp school, and the school uses Naviance (which is linked to CA), then there is no confusion. The other extreme is everything is paper. Then the school has to use some intelligence to match them up.</p>
<p>Name, address, date of birth, high school. Anything that matches. Probably why they ask you to self-report your scores. If they are the same, then the match is probably right. If they are different, then they check some more.</p>
