How do I apply to a BS MD program?

I’ve recently discovered these and am very interested in being accepted into one but for certain schools I’ve been somewhat confused as to how you apply and how are minority students represented.

You have to apply each school individually. There are no common applications.

@LugubriousPickle BS/MD application process is complex and tedious and differs with each program. Some may be easy, some are hard and some are painful. There are close to 50 such programs with variations. Minority students have a better chance. First review various programs and narrow the list and dive deep to know the details. Give more details if you need further guidance. Details like State, situation on finance (need-based or merit-based or have funds and not dependent on either of the aid option), any location preference, which year you are in HS now etc

Every year there are 2 threads created, 1 for general discussion and 1 for post the stats and reflection. So review 2017 & 2016 threads (it is a time consuming process with many posts). But it will give a feel for the process and expectations.
