How do I do this?

I am a "math, science and art" type of person. I like to do math and science competitively, while doing art for fun during my free time. I was screwed out of taking the advanced art class for my senior year, due to hilarious schedule conflicts (basically, I had to choose between lunch or art.)

My question is, how do I express my love for art in my application? I do not have any art ec's/awards. Because of my college class, I am left with at least three hours of free time per week (during the school day). I use all of these three hours every week in the art room doing my stuff. Besides incoporating this into an essay, I feel helpless as to how to say add this to my application.
Any help?

send an art portfolio

most of my art is 3d...pictures maybe?

bump............

Pictures or slides would definitely work... I have several friends who sent in art supplements that way. Be sure to find out whether the schools you're applying to prefers you to send your work to the admissions office or to the art department; I believe that varies from college to college.

You can also list your art in your EC list; an EC doesn't have to be programmed or scheduled to count. And of course you can always write about it in your essays/short answers, or in the Additional info section of the Common App, if you're using it.

why was chosing between art and lunch funny? i pack a lunch and don't have a "lunch". i know this point wasn't important, but i just wanted to point out that i haven't had a lunch in 3 years and am so much happier for it.

haha well im used to a 50 minute break for lunch, and so it throws me off otherwise...but...you have a point, maybe i can screw my lunch for art. hmm...ill have to think about that.

see if you could take it every other day
or take a class at a local college?

every other day: nope, i wont get credits...bleh.
class at a local college: im already taking four next year...

gaaaaaaaah. please help.

There's nothing wrong with just continuing the art on your own. Just send in the art if it is 2D or take pictures if it is 3D (you could even box it up and send it if it is 3D and small). The admissions office will make sure it gets to the right place.

ok. that sounds like my best plan right now...
