How do I find a roommate for an apartment over the summer?

<p>And ideally, if I want to start at around late-June, then when should I try to get the apartment by?</p>

<p>Are summer apartments near universities generally easy to get? (since there are fewer students living in them over summer, in an environment that's used to more students who live in apartment?)</p>

<p>And then how would I advertise my willingness to share an apartment with someone? Craigslist? </p>

<p>(I don't anticipate sharing it with anyone I know, so facebook/friends are not options).</p>

<p>ALOT of people sublease their apartments during the summer. You will probably see listings on the campus newspaper, Craigslist, Facebook Marketplace, and you can ask a few friends if they know anyone that would be subleasing. I know you said Facebook is not an option but Facebook Marketplace has a ton of listings for my college so I would figure it would be the same for your college.</p>
