How do I get to Ithaca

Sadly, there is no train service to Ithaca anymore. There’s not even a trolley between the Common and Campus. You can thank 60 years of political influence from the auto and oil companies for that.

US Air flies to Ithaca from Boston ($278 one way) 9AM will get you there in time for you to check in. Continental also.

Least expensive but a longer trip option would be to take Bolt Bus (www.boltbus.com) from the South Station - be sure to book online to NYC - on 34th St and 8th Ave. You can walk/ride to the Port Authority to take a bus up to Ithaca.

Delta also flies to Ithaca.

Flying is the most painless way of getting to Ithaca,
though you’ll have to pay an arm and a leg for that.

i think continental is affordable if you book 7 days or more in advance during non-peak times…

the taxi from north campus to ithaca airport is $18-20 one way though :-d
