How do I go about sending 1st quarter grades?

Hi I received all A's in all AP courses during the 1st quarter of my senior year and I believe I probably should send those to all my colleges. I mean all it can do is better my application right? So do i make copies of it and mail it to each college? What do I say? How do I go about doing this?

Thanks

Sup man. Crazy win Sunday - I was actually there it was awesome. I guess it’s better to be lucky than good!

As for the grades, I made copies of my report card and then faxed them to the schools. I attached a letter too just describing what I was doing or whatever.

^I was there too lol. What are the odds?

I just went to my GC and got an envelope and wrote the Admissions office address and wrote my name and 1st Quarter grades on the bottom left. He mailed it.

oh heyyyy Jets fans thats whatsup. haha im really jealous I wasn’t there it must have been INSANE.

anyways thanks guys. So when I mail the 1st Qtr grades…should i just include a letter saying like Oh i just wanted to update you on my grades for the 1st quarter in order to further help you on making a decision or something? i’m unsure what to say

Schools prefer an electronic copy over a hard copy, and many won’t consider grades unless they come directly from the school. So, if you can scan and have your GC email it, that’s the best way. Otherwise have it mailed from your school or GC.

yeah that’s what i was thinking but my mom thinks otherwise. I don’t knoww. I would have to wait til after thanksgiving break for her to mail it and then by that time schools are gunna be sending out EA decisions soon.

You could email a scanned copy yourself and then say that your guidance counselor will be providing an official copy shortly.

I agree that if a student has great 1st quarter grades they should provide them to the colleges ASAP.
