How do I know if my major is impacted?

<p>Hi CC,
I'm totally new to the application process, and I need to ask you all a question... :)
Where can I go to find out wether my major is impacted or not? I'm an English major, so perhaps somebody can just tell me if English is an impacted major at any UC.</p>

Berkeley admits by department and has a 44.4% admit rate for the Humanities department.
I’m pretty sure the rest of the UCs do not have english as an impacted major.
