I have no coding background but I want to learn APCS, or at least have a basic understanding of the course/how to code. Are there any free online courses or books you would recommend so I can learn from scratch? Ideally it wouldn’t be more than an hour of work a day over the summer, but anything goes.
Edhesive would be a great place to start. All of the courses are free and remain open even after the session finishes. They have an intro to Computer Science course which I would take first and then a full year AP Computer Science course with videos, multiple choice questions, and programming assignments. Their AP Computer Science Principles course section will start this fall too.
