I'm not sure how you're going about getting a grade changed from last year... it's a B+, not going to really hurt your gpa. What is "UC" gpa? I'd say if you focus on your obvious passion your music as your extracurricular you will be very attractive to UCBerkley. Have you not taken the SATs? I would say you should definetly get that ACT over 30, up near 32 or 33 to make yourself more competitive.

Thanks aquafiliac.
The UCs calculate GPA by their own formula, and that's mine. I'm working on getting a grade change- our school allows for them into the next semester, but as you point out it's not going to destroy me.
Yeah, I'm not a great test-taker, which frustrates me, but I'm working on it.
Anyone else?

Solid chance, I'd say definitely in if you can get your ACT grade up over 30. Lucky that you're in state :)

Don't worry too much about that one B+, honestly I'd kill for that GPA!
And as the previous poster said, make sure that you stress the significance of your different ECs! Good luck!

Chance me back?

Sure shonie, but link's no good. Just post link to thread itself, not to leave a reply.

For each person that replies I will donate a liter of blood! A spleen at 10! Throw in a pancreas at 15, kidney at 20!

please don't ^^

here's my shameless plea: <a href="http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/583457-how-likely-i-will-get-into-williams.html%5B/url%5D">http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/583457-how-likely-i-will-get-into-williams.html</a></p>

You shouldn't worry - the average GPA for admitted Cal students is 4.2 now, but standardized scores average was a 2080 or something similar. Are you a Californian? If you are, that makes it even more definite for an acceptance.

I appreciate these? Any other thoughts? Suggestions?
