i can't find any information on the website

You don't. They contact you.

then how come on common app it asks if I've already set up an interview????

perhaps because the common app is used by many schools that have different interviewing policies.

don't worry. you will most likely be contacted for an interview after the deadline.

candize, it asks for this in the HARVARD SUPPLEMENTAL

Reeze, just chill. I think you can schedule on campus interviews if you live close... maybe that's what it's referring to.
But an alum will contact you once your application has been submitted for a local interview, most likely sometime after the deadline. Don't worry.

Reeze--It's tough (I saw it the same way as you, at first), but read closer. The interview section of the supplement is for international students only.

does harvard do oncampus for people who live close by? i didnt think they did for anyone

ahh? so if i'm an international, that means i have to set up my OWN interview? in canada, btw.

ok you guys... you really are getting a bit obsessive with the interview thing...

here's what the H admissions website says regarding interviews:
"When possible, we try to arrange for applicants living in the U.S. to meet with alumni/ae in or near their school communities. This allows students to learn more about Harvard. Our alumni/ae also add valuable information to applicants' files. Interviews are available to candidates living abroad where and when possible. No candidate is at a disadvantage if an interview cannot be arranged."

ivy- as you live in canada... you might still get an interview...
but no one is at a disadvantage for being unable to receive one. no one is required to set up his or her own interview in order to receive one (unless you are international applying from outside the UK or Canada). you will be contacted if you can get one. once H processes your application, they send your contact information to the interviewers and they take it from there. if you haven't been contacted by a sufficient time after the deadline, give the admissions office a call. otherwise, just chill...

By the way, all of this information is available at the admissions website:
