I already know I'm switching majors when I start(I'm a transfer student admitted for fall 2013), but when I go to register for orientation, it will only allow me to do so for my original major(sociology). I called the school and got different answers twice. What should I do? anyone experience something like this?

If you haven’t officially switched your major already (like go in and sign all the paperwork), than you will most probably have to go to the orientation for the major you originally registered in. If you want to go to the orientation for your new major, I think you should officially change your major and than call that department and ask them how you could change your orientation date.

I actually got this resolved pretty fast. I called the school and they just switched my major for me. No hassle at all!

you’re allowed to change ur major right away? I thought you’re only allowed to change after Fall semester. I want to double major and do business along with my current accepted major health science. Should I contact the school about this or what b/c I haven’t don’e online orientation yet since it doesn’t open up til June 3rd
