When choosing classes, what are some common type classes with credits that have a good chance of transferring with me to a four year college? What class credits normally transfer? How do I choose my classes? Tips, etc?</p>

<p>1.) Check schools that you’re interested in and look at your course catalogs.
2.) Don’t take any continuing education credits. They won’t transfer.
3.) If unsure, don’t take any certificate classes (accounting/pottery/etc).
4.) Worse case, check your state flagship- there is probably an articulation agreement.</p>
<p>At my school, classes number 1-99 transfer to UCs and 1-199 transfer to Cal states. Your school probably has a similar thing. It will probably say in the course catalog or you could ask a counselor…</p>
