<p>Well that was actually the only section I got around a 750 and the best way to improve that is:
Brush up on correct format for essays (There are a bunch of formats but a simple expository essay format is always easy and efficient) and your punctuation/grammar etc.
Start writing practice essays every few days and time yourself to see how long you take. Also I happen to know that if you’re somewhat close to your English teacher they’re usually pretty willing to look through some of the essays and give you feedback.
This may not apply to you but when you get to the test don’t start freaking out about it. If you stress out too much your thoughts in your writing may end up scattered.
Also if you tend to put miscellaneous information in your essays take that out. It’s better to have a shorter essay that addresses just the prompt and well than have a long essay that doesn’t effectively address the question.
And the last thing: make sure to study in a similar environment to the test. It helps a lot.
