How do my chances look?

Transfering: Winter 2007
English Major (non-impacted)
GPA: 3.50

School Applying to:
UCD

Extra Curiculars: about 100 hours a year
Work: 25 hours a week for the last few years

What do you guys think? What factors could increase the chance i'll get in?

I think you currently have a 99% chance of getting in if you have completed your prereqs and IGETC.

doesnt UCD have some sort of guranteed admission program?

even if they dont, i agree i think your pretty much in.

Yeah youre pretty much in

Unless you're dead set on Davis or something, you'd have a good shot at UCLA and UCSD too

yea davis is pretty easy

Great! I am excited I really hope I get in :) They do have a transfer agreement but my GPA was too low at the time to apply for it, but now it's at the perfect spot.

Does it make any difference that I did have a couple of F's and a one D that I made up? I retook the classes and got A's in all of them...and the new grades cancel out the old ones

nah not at all. You made them up and that's all that matters. I'm guessing you're from norcal from your s/n. Which JC are you transferring from?

Wow, forget Davis, you could apply to Harvard with those state bro!

I'm transfering from the Santa ROsa Junior College...pretty tough school, supposidly top 10 CC in the country

Harvard? Can anyone else second that? I would agree Davis is an undershot though.

I might actually go to Santa Rosa to save on money and since I'm moving to SF.

By the way, what actually are your ECs?

SF....man I hate you guys.

Um . . . huh?

My grades were lowers than expected and my GPA dropped down to a 3.31, and I screwed?

Nope. And you still have a chance of getting into somehwere better than UCD.

you are in good hands still norxcal
