how do they mail decisions?

greeksalad You applied ED to BU like me and EA to Fordham U anywhere else
I applied EA to UVM and got in last week so I feel A bit better but
there is no comparison for me between BU and UVM.

I have a WHOLE list of RD WHICH I HOPE I DON’T have to DO

Good Luck
I Love your screen name are you Greek???

Cross- do they send the descisions on the 15th or should they be delivered by the 15th?

ok just clarified my own question-
I just called Fordham. They said EA applicants’ (I also said Choice App) letters start getting mailed out the 15th through Christmas.
Time to stalk your mailboxes!

Wait. They mail them out starting the 15th? Or we start receiving starting the 15th?

lilly16, i also applied to northeastern and fairfield early. For RD im going to applly to GW, syracuse, villanova, and possibly Mcgill. Hopefully i wont have to apply to any of them.

and yes i am Greek!

i am confused, i thought normal EA applicants recieved there’s by christmas and choice app EA applicants recieved theres by the 15th

Hello, fellow Greek!

I thought we would hear by tomorrow, but judging from what laurenrp said, we’ll have a few more days’ worth of wait. Oh well…

yeah i am wondering, i will to call them.

i am confused because it specifically says in an email they sent me on the night of deadline about the choice app says “An admission decision by December 15 when you apply Early Action”

This is how the Phone conversation went:
“hi, I’m a prospective student who applied early action using the choice application, not the common app. When will descisions be released? And will they be sent through email or regular mail?”
woman: “starting tomorrow through Christmas.”
me: “do you mean we will find out tomorrow or they will be sent tomorrow?”
woman: “they will start being sent out tomorrow, through regular post.”
me: “Ok. Choice application students right?”
woman: “yes.”
me: thank you… Hang up.

If that helps any of your nerves hah.

Also greeksalad, I applied ea to Northeastern (and frankly should have applied Ed to BU…), and I live in Fairfield! Hah, I pass the campus every day.

Ugh, that means I have to wait at least another day then. Grrr.

Wait…if we applied through Common App with fee waiver we’re still going to be hearing back soon, correct? I didn’t realize so many people did the Choice App.

NYU Reject hoping to bank on Fordham.

These letters better come quick. I’m running out of ice cream and tissues!

So will we definitely hear about our merit-based scholarships when we get our EA acceptance letters even if we didn’t submit the CSS profile?

Merit-based scholarships don’t involve the CSS PROFILE. It’s strictly based on your HS performance.

So we should hear of our merit scholarship when we get our letters in the upcoming days?

I don’t know about this year, but my son in 2005, got his EA decision the week before Christmas, but his finacial aid letter was addressed 2/24. (kept them for reference)

The mail just came here. THere’s a large envelope from the Fordham University Office of Undergraduate Admissions.

i dont know if you already answered this somewhere zoosermom, but how did your chiold apply?
