By doing it in right after summer or winter break. ;)

No TV, No gaming, No Facebook. That should free up about 3 hours everyday to study SATs.

I believe that’s called overkill.

^ Yeah, I never had to give up either gaming or Facebook.

Oh gosh…Not to brag, but I played Counterstrike almost incessantly for the weeks leading up to the test and I did very well! Certainly you don’t need to sacrifice these basic necessities (I would consider them necessities!).

summer camp does help
I went to Elite one summer, and it was really helpful.
Great teachers, didn’t have distractions, and it felt like a test environment

Ha ha! I, too, played Counter Strike: Source almost non-stop before my freshman SAT. Guess we found a new preparation method.

Wow, that’s funny because I also played CS Source like a freak back in 9th grade when I had nothing to do.

I’ve really had to curb my playing time during junior year: that game is way too addictive.

Normally, games get old pretty fast and the risk of addiction is negligible; CS: Source, however, never got old – even after thousands (yes, thousands) of hours of play time. :(

CS just seems to have a huuuuge entry barrier these days. Never got into it much myself but then maybe that’s a good thing ;)

Do you guys game anymore?

Yeah, the learning curve is brutal if you don’t know which servers to pick.

Yeah, I still play games. Team Fortress, Modern Warfare, that kind of thing. I’m so mainstream ha
