How do we know if we met the Dec 1 deadline?

<p>How do we know that we are being considered for merit scholarships? Will it show up on the youSC portal?</p>

<p>I applied on December 1.</p>

<p>However, I did not tick the ‘Do you need financial aid?’ option ( because I want only merit based scholarship and not need based).</p>

<p>Will I still be considered for scholarship?</p>

<p>Requesting financial aid or not requesting it will not affect your chances for a merit scholarship. Some full pay students who do not check the box for financial aid DO get merit scholarships and some who check the box DO get merit scholarships. Independent processes. </p>
