Meh… Depending on the day 5-6, although first semester and recently I’ve had some 2 hour nights. Even a couple all nighters. Lol Inhuman Belligerence. Wonder what AP really means?

AP: Awful Pressure

I get about 6 hours every night. I stay awake during the school day by sleeping on the bus ride every morning. Then on the weekends, I get about 10 hours of sleep. Also coffee helps :D

I get about 3-5 hours during the weekdays. But as SOON as I get back from school on Friday: lights out.

I just sleep.
and then use my brain to get out of things;
copying homework, signing clinic slips…
but I manage to get good grades:/

Getting 6 to 7 hours of sleep a night is an absolutely priority over everything including schoolwork.

Plus, I’m pretty sure the hours I lose sleeping are made up by not having a decreased life expectancy from sleep deprivation. =p

My middle school went from nine to four, and my high school goes from seven-thirty to two-thirty. The former is a much more productive educational day for all involved and I wish more schools would adopt it.

actually I only survived because I knew that someday all that stress would end.
and coffee. haha

Brother, I also doing hard job always. But need 8 hours sleep must in a days. When i take a complete rest, my mind will fresh and i concentrate my job. So don’t wake up much.

I don’t remember the last time I got more than 7 hours of sleep on a school night. It didn’t happen this year, at least.

In my senior year my sleep habits have become very erratic. What kills me is sleeping for 7 hrs one or two nights, and then sleeping maybe 1-3 the subsequent two nights, then 5, then maybe 6, then 3 again. I have also learned how to pull all-nighters this year, which is bad. But I have never slept well, so I can survive but after 3, 4 days of that I get ill. Sometimes I sleep for 13-15 hours at the beginning of the weekend because my body just shuts down.

It’s the extracurriculars partly - I am a captain on the track team and our coach lets practice run really late. But I thought it would be counteracted by the early release, when I can get some homework done - at the end of the day, hasn’t helped much.

I am only in five classes, but they are all AP/post-AP college courses/special programs and the amount of homework is inhumane. Blah.

Last year I literally got 1-3 hours of sleep. Mostly listened Jam Bands (Phish, Grateful Dead, Allman Brothers) to get me through it. Guys: keep pushing through you are almost there, it is worth it in the end. Also, during the summer was a similar situation because of research: Worked from 7-6 every day. Geez.

I get about 5-6 hours of sleep a night. I get tired in school, but somehow I still get things done.

I catch up on sleep during the weekend by sleeping 20 hours out of the 48 hours.

I usually average around 7 hours of sleep during the school week.

I always feel like there’s something else I could be doing with my time, like studying for the SAT or my AP tests…
I never feel quite ready for either. Wasting too much time sleeping just doesn’t seem efficient.

^I never feel ready for anything xD

I remember reading about a study where they had their schools start and end 30 minutes later. That year, apparently, test scores rose all across the charts.
I guess the main reason why they don’t have schools start later is because it’s inconvenient for adults and the adult work schedule

I can function pretty well on anywhere from 4-6 hours of sleep. I also sleep a lot during weekends, so that’s when I make up on sleep.

I’ve pulled all-nighters a few times. Those weren’t some of my better days. :)

I just can. Idk. My dad is the same way.
I mean, once I get under 5 hours things get hairy, but more than that is a good night for me.

On school days, I’m lucky if I get over four. For some reason, I can just function on very little sleep. I never even drink coffee! The best thing I’ve found to stay awake, or to wake up is to eat. Any time you feel a little tired, just have a little snack. It boosts your energy, and makes you more awake. Apples work the best!

On school nights, I usually get about 5 or 6. I could easily sleep longer if I don’t get so distracted by CC. lol jk its facebook, twitter, youtube. but lately i have been able to focus more. Im starting to find all these social networks boring. People talk/complain about the same thing over and over.

I usually pull all-nighters when I have a essay due the next day. But it pays off very well. A in AP lang first semester. I have a 96 in it now.
