Has anyone mentioned it yet? It’s a way to trick your brain into sleeping more when you only get like 2 and half hours of sleep a day.

Read the first half of this article [5 Ways To Hack Your Brain Into Awesomeness | Cracked.com](http://www.cracked.com/article/127_5-ways-to-hack-your-brain-into-awesomeness/)

Here is another one [Uberman’s sleep schedule || kuro5hin.org](kuro5hin.org)

That’s a very not smart idea. I don’t want to say dumb…or stupid…but…relying on 20-30 minutes naps every four hours when your schedule runs from 5 AM to 5 PM…not wise.

Works pretty well in the short term. /attest

Short term as what? One or two days? Yes, but the article said after ten days you’re miserable.

I usually sleep between 12-1:30 am and I get up at 6:30 am. I feel pretty crappy right when I get up, but it gets better. When I get home, if I am utterly exhausted I just crash for an hour!

I usually sleep 6-7 hours. Honestly, less than 7 makes me kind of crabby (or maybe I’m just naturally a crab…)
Back in 8th grade (Oh, to be an 8th grader!), I would literally go to sleep every night at 2 or 3 and feel fine in the morning. That’s 3-4 hours for me. Now, if I sleep on that much (happened a few times) I sleep through all my classes and fail whatever quizzes/tests are that day.

god, u rock bro. Mind if I ask what’s ur major?

looks like it simply differs from a person to person. i usually sleep about 5hrs max/day, and i can still function normally at school and elsewhere.

I hate sleeping. It affects me at times, but only in drastic situations. I try to recharge a bit over the weekends and breaks.

I usually sleep around two-three hours a night on regular schooldays, and six on Friday nights. Not because I’m studying though. Heck, I wish I would study. I’ll probably start doing that more, though.

Copious amounts of rockstar or monster. I probably have 2 a day.

My son worked really hard in high school that some nights he only got 7 hours of sleep. I’m not sure how he pulled that, but I am always proud of my hard working son!

I would chop off a limb for 7 hours of sleep every night. But I feel like my biggest problem is my poor time management (especially procrastination), not loads of homework necessarily. I feel like it should be plausible for a high school student, even one loaded down with APs and honors courses as well as sports/extracurriculars, to get a minimum of 6 hours of sleep a night if they manage their time well enough.

Protip: Never go to bed later than 1. Chances are you won’t accomplish anything that late and you’ll feel awful in the morning.

Coffee does wonders.

I have friends who wake up at 5 AM, do homework, go to school, nap at lunch, go home and sleep until dinner, work until 9 PM, sleep until 5 AM etc…

I cannot function without 8 hours of sleep, so that’s what I get. Although as a HS junior, it’s been cut down to like 7.5…

you get used to it… takes practice lol

Enough Sleep is critically plays an important role for a healthy life. At least 6 hours of sleep is madatory for one day.

There are two possibilities for getting 4-5 hours of sleep a day.

1)You naturally only need that much sleep a day. Consider yourself blessed, as science has shown that a certain number of people function perfectly fine without sleeping much.

2)Power naps. Set them to 15 minutes at times of the day when you dont need to work. Keep your bags tucked away, sit in a sofa and sleep. I find that every 15 min power nap is roughly equal to an hour of sleep, up to a certain extent.

Meh, naps don’t work for me. It’s like crack; I try to ration it out and end up craving more.
Sleep is my narcotic of choice, I suppose.
