How do you appeal FA?

<p>OK. I understand many people have appealed their FA package and gotten a few thousand more dollars in aid. </p>

<p>My question is, for those that have effectively appealed their package, what do you say to them to get more money? I'm talking about situations in which your financial situation has not changed since you sent the FAFSA.</p>

<p>Please don't respond just to tell me you got money. That's great, but it doesn't help me. But if you have any useful advice, please let me know!!! Thanks.</p>

<p>That's all you have to say. You can even e-mail. They're rather friendly considering they are associated with NYU and John Sexton.</p>

<p>I e-mail all the time and ask for more work-study money and they dish it out like candy. I don't know how they handle the rest of financial aid but if others have gotten more money, just call and ask that one simple question.</p>
