How do you calculate a UC GPA?

<p>I am lost as to how to calculate a UC GPA. If someone can explain how or just tell me what mine would be, it would be so greatly appreciated. </p>

<p>(I don’t have a language because I took the French SAT and received a 780 on it)</p>

<p>10th
Honors English B
Honors History B
Chemistry A
Math A
Health A
Art A
Art History A </p>

<p>11th
AP English B
AP US History A
Math A
Bio A
AP Psychology A
Art A </p>

<p>and I am going to hypothesize my Senior year… </p>

<p>Use the following link and input your high school name. Note only applicable for CA high schools. It is to determine which Honors classes gets AP credit. </p>

<p>Taken from sophomore/junior year, exclude freshman/senior:
An AP class is weighted 5 points
AP B/ regular A weighted 4
regular B is weighted 3
regular C is weighted 2
D or F = 0
For one year, add them all up then divide by number of classes, repeat for other year, then add them together and average those sophomore/junior GPAs into a final UC GPA.</p>

<p>Four weighted classes max for both sophomore and junior year, so you can only use four APs as weighted grades. All other classes, AP or not, must be weighted from the starting regular A = 4 points scale.</p>

<p>Does anyone know how to calculate community college classes into the UC GPA?</p>

<p>I know they are required but my school sets up this thing called "Independent Study" for those of us who already passed the SAT and our School District got it approved by the UC's to be considered a class.</p>
