I'm going to be in college soon. I was just asking how to dance at a junior prom. I want to know how to dance at college dances. Is it like high school dances? Do you do grinding a lot or do you slow dance?

We use poles.

mostly birdwalk.

Ironically stand in the corner doing the robot.

foxtrot, jitterbug

Wobble to the left, wobble to the right, fall down. Do the “dry heave.”

Oh yeah, here’s a staple move at any university: the Roman Hands. (roamin’ hands)

Like nobody’s watching

Without clothing on.

hahaha i love how there have been no serious responses to this question as yet…

The dances I’ve gone too have had very minimal grinding. It’s surprisingly soooo much classier than high school. And a shocking amount of people know how to swing and salsa.

exactly the same as high school, but instead of your schools gym or w/e its in some house and more of the people are drunk

cupid shuffle.

I prefer the shopping cart and then the sprinkler. Quite popular, I’d say.

you should do the sprinkler, or you could go shopping
thats my favorite

^See? Popular.

stankyleg!

I get drunk then I dance, and find some gurrrls.

jkflsdj! ^ stanky leg! i barely just heard that song like two weeks ago. Why would i want a stanky leg? thats called gangrene.

hahaha i crack myself up.

that actually looks like a hilarious dance ot participate in. i would have when i heard the song but i was limping, haha.

Um, like are you wanting to know how to dance at clubs/bars or at formals/semi-formals? There’s differences, and it really all depends on the specific dance.

The shopping cart and sprinkler do apply to all of them though. A favorite during spring break was the defibrilator, one person acts like the go unconscious while the other person pulls out an invisible defibrilator and the other shakes violently until they are revived and they slowly get up.

Look, I’m going to clue you in on how to survive any social situation you ever find yourself in where you feel out of your element. You might not be the life of the party but you’re not going to make an idiot out of yourself either. This works anywhere from formal dinners to informal dances to anything, at any stage in your life.

Look around at what other people are doing. Do that.
