How do you gain fat?

But eventually, she'll get sick of eating it. If I had mor than 2 spoons of frosting I woud def get sick of it.

On the plus side, she will no longer be addicted to sugar, as she'll know just how terrible it is.

Man, you guys are skinny... I'm 5'5" and 150. :P (that's probably twice as heavy as some of you) And I have stretch marks on my thighs, even though I'm not even that fat... this can't be normal for a 16 year old...

On the plus side, I once calculated my BMI to be 24.99. Overweight is 25. HA!!

But why not binge on something yummy and fattening instead of just gross and fattening if you're trying to gain weight? Like rich ice cream instead of frosting, or smoked salmon or cheesecake. Or a bottle of sesame oil. OooOOOooo.

Just to set things straight, I only tried eating butter/peanut butter one time... and i rarely binge since it's hard to do and i'm too lazy.

so... yeah. haha

yeti crab, i have stretch marks on my knee caps and the tops of my legs, totally normal...i think. people who think theyre too skinny, flaunt it and wait 5 years. im a girl and 5'9", over the summer i was 118, now im 128, i need to get back in shape...

^ That sounds like the perfect weight for your height... but you probably know better than me anyway. :P

im gonna get in shape the healthy way...start running, dont worry, no eating disorders for me!

Hmm... I'm 5'6" and around 100 pounds, and I'm perfectly healthy with lean muscles and stuff. Oh and I just googled a BMI calculator and it informed me that mine is 16.1.

I run distance year round, and I eat... a lot of chinese food? Haha authentic, but I eat fruits and veggies and everything. I don't think that binging or shoving your face with sugars will help. It might help you gain weight but not healthily (is that a word? haha) And the number one priority is to be healthy! If you really want to look thicker, just go to a weight room and work out; that'll give you muscles and you'll gain weight quicker since muscles are more dense than fat.

Plus sitting on your ass all day and eating sugars/butter is not going to help, especially if you have a fast metabolism like I do. You'll probably end up hyper and with a sugar high, then crash haha. So I think the best way would just to gain muscle and work out.

Beefcake!!!!!!

No but either you want to get meat on your bones or fat on your bones, the two call for COMPLETELY different diets...

how about honey?

Wondered why this was bumped. Then everything made sense. Stop going through my post history :P

you guys are so thin! people tell me all the time that i’m really thin and i’m only 5’6" and about 117 pounds. i can’t even imagine being around 90 pounds and that height. crazyyyy!

So this way made last year. Now I am curious did you gain fat over the past year, Mulberrypie?

Hmm, yes I have. Around 5 lbs.

Maybe you should just start working out a bit and getting some muscle. But don’t worry too much. I like skinny girls

People don’t realize how irratiting sometimes it is to be skinny. For some people (like me) it is just as hard for me to put on weight and keep it as it is for an overweight person to lose weight and keep it off.

At my heaviest I’ve weighed 108lbs (5’2"), I spent the last two months putting on those last 8 lbs, then last week I got my wisdom teeth out and I lost 4lbs. It will probably take me another months to put it on again.

Hmm is there any way to gain weight without exercising? BMI of 15 here as well.

I’ve started a diet where anything that contains chocolate goes. In addition, to never exercising of course, because I’m too lazy. This nevertheless caused me to lose weight :/

I don’t think my metabolism has anything to do with it though. I’m confused. Maybe I’m eating the wrong kinds of junk food?

Um. If you’re THAT skinny you need to gain MUSCLE, not fat, to get stronger. don’t start eating lard, eat healthily and eat a lot of protein and then do weight training and running, so you can build up muscle AND fat…

and this goes for everyone skinny. don’t try to gain weight without exercising, because then you won’t gain any muscle and that’s not healthy.

people need to realize that it’s important to be HEALTHY, not skinny enough or fat enough to be hot… if you’re super skinny and you just eat junk food and don’t exercise to gain weight, that’s really bad for you. it hurts your organs and stops them from working right, which can cause diseases…

sorry for the long post but really, this is important!

Meadow, I think if we like stuffed ourselves to death every single day every single hour we would fosho gain weight. But who’s going to do that? Haha.

Sinflower… honesty, I don’t have time for exercising right now. But either this summer or senior year I’ll have to take P.E. to graduate so hopefully that’ll get me more fit. I don’t really care about my weight anymore; it is what it is. But what’s starting to worry me is my health. I don’t get sick anymore, but like, I get tired and out of breath going down/up the stairs in my house haha. Once summer comes and I get my license I’mma get a gym buddy and start heading to the gym…

mmkay good luck mulberrypie! and remember to eat your protein and drink lots of water to keep your energy up from all the exercising… haha i sound like your mother :stuck_out_tongue: i need to exercise too…

Once you start exercising, you could eat those weight gaining bars. You know, like in Mean Girls?
