How do you get an invitation for the UCSD Medical Scholars Program?

<p>How do you get the invitation? I know you have to get the gpa and the sat score, but do I have to apply to UCSD, and if I am accepted and meet the requirements, do I get the invitation? Or do I get the invitation before I apply to the school?</p>

<p>i believe you apply to ucsd and then get the invitation… they have a site to double check…</p>

<p>but theres only a few that get in every year…</p>
