How do you get that 100-200 point boost to a 2300-2400?

I'm new to college confidential and often I would just lurk around looking at popular threads and indirectly seeking out advice through the questions of others, but recently I've been extremely stressed out regarding my score causing me to make a direct plea to you guys. ):

At the start of the summer, my average score was a 1900 with a 650 in CR, 680 in Math, and 550 in Writing. After taking a month long course, I ended scoring around the 2200 range with an 800 in Math, 690 in CR, and 690 in writing. Since then I've been self studying and my math has remained a steady 800 but my CR and writing scores are starting to feel impossible to raise, as if i'd hit my "max" limit. I really really want to score at least a 2300 on the test, and I was aiming for 2400 but I don't think that's feasible for me anymore.

Essentially, here's what has been bogging me down.

CR: In every section there's those 1-2 questions where 2 choices always seem correct. I've taken all 10 of the BB tests and every single CR section is the same. How do you distinguish the answer between those choices?
There's also maybe 1 question per test where one of the sentence completions I either didn't understand the sentence or didn't know the vocab.
I usually get about 6 wrong total (2 wrong per section) leading to a score of about 700.

Writing: Identifying the error in sentences is the main problem, with occasional points lost here and there in modifying sections.
I always seems to keep searching for errors even when there are none, and idioms are driving me crazy to the point that if something sounds even the slightest bit weird, I'll mark it down (i.e. arrived to. I made the error of marking it down when I thought it should be arrived at). The second main problem is missing errors and marking them no error. I make a lot of these stupid mistakes and I'm not sure how to take the test more efficiently while maintaining time.
Also usually about 6 wrong total.

So how do you salvage those extra points that always seem to be evading me no matter what I do? What are some tips to polish my score to that consistent 2300-2400?

Much thanks,
super frustrated out test taker

What class did you take?

IES2400. I’m not sure if it’s a bigger company but I live in NJ :P

To those trying to message me I still need 15 posts to be able to respond apparently
