All day I've been freaking out about the test tomorrow. I've made probably 20 programs for my calculator that I know I will not use and have been re-reading my test book. I know it's going to be nearly impossible for me to fall asleep tonight, which is why I have opted to go to my indoor soccer game that's an hour away at 9 tonight. Hopefully I'll get tired from that and be able to fall asleep before midnight. I'm also really worried I'm going to be really worried tomorrow morning. I haven't been to the testing center and I'm not entirely sure which building it's in and where I should park.

So my question for you guys is, what do you do to keep yourself from having a panic attack before the test?

If you’ve studied effectively and boned up on your weak points (if any) you should have confidence that you will score high. I’ve taken many standardized tests and I always find that the key to doing well is a combination of diligent preparation as well as taking solace in the fact that your prepared.

In my opinion, you should do whatever relaxes you this evening, get a full night’s sleep, wake up refreshed and eat a healthy breakfast. At this point, the major determinant in your performance is confidence (i.e. attitude towards the exam). If you’ve been preparing for weeks, now is the time to take a breather and have downtime.

The night before my ACT, I watched videos on youtube and then fantasized about some hot chicks that I wanted hit up if you know what i’m sayin’. That will keep your mind off the test, hopefully.
