...injust isn't a word

Have laundry/study parties in the laundry room with your friends. :P

get a single or an apartment

Why is almost everyone on this board a dick? Indian is just worried about his clothes. I don't see the problem. You guys are spending your time bashing him, calling him stupid, while in reality you guys look like the idiots. You all are actually talking ***** about someone you don't know online instead of just ignoring the poster's question if you thought it was so stupid.
Indian, my advice is to buy a nice trunk to put your valuables in that can function as a bench at the end of your bed and storage. I'm pretty sure you can't just ask for a single and magically get one. If that were the case they wouldn't have doubles. But good luck to you and don't waste your time arguing with these losers.

I completely second wifey!ppl get a life! the thread is not boasting Indian's possession of a RL shirt...it is discussing the undeserving loss of those 65$ that he lost and probably had earned with his hard earned money!

And most prob Indian is truly of Indian Nationality...and for an Indian student studyin in the US ,$65 is helluva lot

Indian...just 4get...dont post,,,these ppl are just bored and want to spice up their lifes with a bit of the fighting drama

you guys are being way too mean to indian...the poor guy is just afraid his hard earned clothes will get stolen

i agree his clothes aren't that expensive but thats probably because i lie in la and am used to spending a lot more than that on clothes...maybe he's from arkansas or something?

i wouldn't want my clothes stolen either so he's making a completely legible assumption

lay off and give him some real advice about how to keep his clothes safe

I think the problem people have with threads like this is that they absolutely reek of paranoia. Paired with the generally majorly uptight attitude of a lot of people who hang around these boards, and with the recent trend of people posting increasingly inane things on this board in particular, it was just. too. much.

Asking questions is obviously what this place is all about, but continuous back and forth about whether or not your college roommate might steal your shirt is excessive.

People around here freak out over the smallest things, many of which HAVEN'T EVEN HAPPENED YET.

I totally get a post asking for advice if your roommate/neighbor actually DOES steal your clothes. I just don't understand the hand-wringing and fretting that goes on over silly things that haven't (and probably will not) taken place.

And really, how many suggestions are there? If you're seriously concerned, invest in a padlock and call it a day.

/I also don't agree with personal attacks. I just understand the frustration.

One word: SAFE

Yeah. That too.

This thread has inspired me steal someone's expensive clothes and donate them to Goodwill.

+5 Sadism
+9 Charity

LOL, I can actually see him putting his five shirts in a safe and sitting next to the dryer making sure that nobody steals his clothes.

Lock your door; it's that *in simple. Unless you got a *ty roomate, nobody has to worry about this kind of nonense.

lol...im just dying to see this thread pass the #100 limit...that would be hilarious. Now only if instead of posting, each person donated 50 cents, Indian would probably be able to buy the shirt and spare all of us the agony of bearing this crappy arguement :) ...unless of course his roomate's also reading this ;)

My goodness, why watch TV for entertainment when you can stay on CC, this is so funny it's like the Real World.

This thread kinda needs to die.. but I just wanted to add:

Some of the posters on here were being excessive with their assumptions of indian's attitude. How expensive the shirts are is completely relative, and, regardless of the price tag, it's a pretty simple, straightforward question -- "how can I ensure my stuff won't get stolen?" I'm pretty sure "kthxdie" doesn't answer the question. I've read most of the posts, and no offense to anyone, but indian's reponses were much more coherent and logical than a lot of the dumb comments other people made. I agree that it's a bit preemptive to be worried about clothing theft, but I would sure rather be "safe than sorry." Shirts are shirts and jeans are jeans. It's not like he's asking about how to secure his bedsheets. I'm quite sure that indian has better things to do than wait 2 hours for his clothes to dry, or camp out in his dorm all day protecting his stuff, as a few posters have eloquently described. But, even if he DID do that, it would STILL be more productive than flaming a poster's geniune concerns.

indian, I think a couple of people have already covered some good ways to make sure your stuff isn't stolen. Definitely lock it up, or nail it down, if you're really worried about theft.

let me join in the fun.
Indian, you suck big time!

why is this thread still alive? and how did it get to 97...98 posts?

Who cares about trash preppy wannabe clothes? I would be concerned about my wallet or laptop getting stolen.

woohoo im 100

btw just thought i should just get on the bandwagon and make fun of indian - no one wants your used cloths. there are much more interesting (and valuable) things to steal then a ralph lauren shirt or a pair of abercrombie shorts.

Oh. My. God.

This thread was HILARIOUS!

Indian, I'm glad you've stopped replying to these people's posts...because they just loooooooooooove to push your buttons. The more you talk back, the more they'll bite!

bullies .
