How do you study for precalc w/ analysis? MCPS MD PEOPLE!

Okay. Im a freshman in the MCPS system in MD and precalc w/ Analysis is pretty up there. I just looked at my online grade right now and I have a 76.6 C! GASP I’ve NEVER gotten a C in my entire life.

Honestly, it’s the hardest class ive ever taken in my life. It’s not that I don’t get the concept, it’s that i make these stupid mistakes and end up getting a C on the test and since they give us like 4 tests per quarter (and now quizzes), Im pretty much skrewed.

Also, with the new retake policy (crap) I fail all my tests (not retakable) and yet I get 100%s on all my quizzes (retakeable)… It’s not that I retake them, it’s just that I do better on tests that I know I can retake.

I’m aiming for a B for first quarter so I can go
B (1st Quarter) A (2nd Quarter) A (Final Exam) to get an A for the semester.

So:

MCPS people: How do you study for tests?

DUDE! How can I overcome this problem with 100% on quizzes and failing my tests?

Relax, it's precalculus. I am highly confused as to how it can be so "hard." Perhaps posting some problems or area's you have difficulty with? Mathematics, especially at that level, is a subject that doesn't have a lot of maybe's, you need to learn to just nail it. BAM!

What's precalculus with !analysis!? And what's !MCPS MD!?

I just self studied for logarithms. So fun:D

Is that differenet from precalc/trig?

I'm not a MoCo kid, but what is the analysis part of this class? For the precalc part, memorization and heavvyyyy studying will definitely help. Check over your tests meticulously, because it seems like you slip up on things you already know.

Thanks.

Precalc w/ Analysis is the same thing as Honors Precalculus. And yes it does include Trig. Precalc w/ Analysis is just the name of the class in MoCo Maryland. :-P
