There is no option on assist to view the articulation agreement between the CSU that i went to and the UC that i want to go to.

i tried seeing if the csu class would transfer over to the CC i am attending right now, but it says it is not articulated; the rest of my classes are.

does this mean that it does not transfer over? is there any other way for me to check?

thanks.

also, i took a sign language class at a cc while i was in high school. i got a c in it so i do not to put it on the tag app; do i have to?

What are the classes you’re still unsure about?
Most schools will only let you know after you’ve been admitted. I’m wondering how the whole GPA thing works out since we won’t know whether the classes count or not…

I think you have to report ALL the classes you’ve ever taken at a CC.

You have to report all classes you’ve taken whether they transfer or not. Then they will decide if they transfer and then determine your GPA. Sign Language should transfer.

I have another question. At my CSU I got a few B+ grades and one B-. My cc doesn’t give out - or + grades only A, B, C, D, F instead of A-, B+, B-, etc. A counselor at my cc said since they don’t give out the + or -, it won’t recognize them from my CSU so my B- would be a C and my B+ would just be a B. I feel like this is really unfair because it definitely messes my GPA. Has anyone had experience with this? What grades should I enter when I apply? Will the UCs ask for both transcripts, the one from my cc and the one from my csu? I have an appointment next week with a different counselor but I wanted to see if anyone knows anything about this.

You have to send in transcripts from all colleges attended. Just because your CCC did that doesn’t mean a UC will. Especially since they have + and -. Just record your grades exactly as they appear and they will adjust your GPA accordingly. I can’t imagine a B- would be considered a C at a UC though since they work on the + - system.

Ugh, the counselors at my school sucks. I can’t really trust what they say half of the time. So you’re certain we have to send in transcripts from ALL colleges attended? I was worried that if I put the B+ grades down the UCs would reject me once they saw my cc transcript where they would apparently be a B grades (even though they’re legitimately B+ grades). Thanks for your help!

You definitely have to send in transcripts from all colleges attended. I had an A- from one of my schools and UCSD has it recorded as an A- on my academic history, so I don’t think you have to worry about them rounding down. Rather than rounding, the + and _ are worth different values. A B- is worth a 2.7.
