<p>I have no dea. Depends on how competitive you school is. Because here in the Netherlands it is ridiculously high, but in America not so much, I think.

<p>I dont know, it really depends. If your in the top 2% of your class, atleast that shows your 90% in relation to others at your school. I go to a very competitive public highschool (that required an entrance test), and 90% here is not much.</p>
<p>it also depends on courses taken, they do take that into account</p>
<p>in romania 9 is a great grade, about 10-15% percentile national-wide
in my HS a 9 wouldn't place you even in the first 70-80%</p>
<p>So as you see, it depends a lot on how good your school is. You can't simply take it as an absolute value.</p>
