How does CS major in Dietrich work?

My son was admitted into the Dietrich School with an intended major of CS. But I am not finding CS in the list of majors, minors etc. in the Dietrich School.

Can someone help me understand how the major works? Would my son need to transfer into information science? Any help is appreciated.

I think you do two years pre-computer science in Dietrich and then the last two years in School of Computing and Information.

Internal transfer (from above link):

Thanks for the links and the information. Do you think the process would be the same for majoring in CS? I’m finding it confusing that my son was able to check off CS as his intended major when applying to Dietrich, but now it seems like a transfer process will be needed. But maybe this is just growing pains as the school of Computer and Info Science is pretty new. Sounds like a good program in any case.
