How does Emory notify of decisions?

Does Emory notify online, snail mail, or both?
And when should we expect these decisions? Will they be holding fast to the April 1st notification date? I'm visiting next week, but it would be nice to know now, and I am sure many other forum members have the same question.

Online via OPUS you can view your decision letter. They did not send out acceptance letters via mail. I was accepted ED II and decisions were released 7pm, not much earlier (maybe 10 minutes). We received an e-mail on decision day with the time. Good luck.

And that is 7:00 pm eastern time. I looked a few minutes early and decisions were posted. When you look at the OPUS site, go to the bottom of the page to the Admissions section and on the left it will say View Decision Online. Follow the links to your letter. You will not get a letter in the mail, so print it off if you want to save it. For ED1, they have taken our Decision Online off, so I cannot view it anymore.

Good luck…hope you will be joining us!

How do you get a OPUS account? I applied ED but I didn’t know how I would get notified either.

Yea i sent my ED app but I haven’t gotten my OPUS information yet

me too guys^^

Aye guys I figured it out. You basically have to sign up for Emory OPUS by yourself. When you get to the Emory OPUS page click on “Obtain Network ID” or something like that. It will ask you for your birthday and SS number. Put those in and Emory will give you your opus username and password.

does anyone know the exact date we find out early decisions? it says december 15 on the website, so i’m assuming that’s correct, but a saturday seems quite odd to get notifications.

I’m pretty sure they will be released December 15. I already know that other schools are also giving decisions on the 15th like UPenn, Duke, Georgia Tech.
