I called admissions and they are really unclear about it. One time they said they only take 18 academic credits into account and the other time they said they take in all. So which is it?

I would also like to know the answer to this question. What courses on the transcript does FAU use to recalculate the GPA? Also, I’d like to know: when FAU provides GPA average range of those accepted, are those the student’s weighted or unweighted GPAs?

I believe it is weighted, but don’t take my word for it. Admissions is confusing about gpa

Here’s the response I just received from FAU admissions: We re-calculate the GPA with just the core classes (Math, English, Science, Social Science and Foreign Language). We do give more weight to honors or AP classes as well.

Did they say whether they count all academic courses you’ve completed in high school or just 18 academic credits
