How does major change work before enrollment?

I applied under College of Education but now I want to change it

I asked the UT admissions if I could change my major to UGS (undeclared) and they said I can write an appeal. What are the chances that my appeal to switch from College of Education to UGS will be accepted? They also assured me that if my appeal is denied then I get to stay in my major

Also, when can I change from an undeclared major to a B.S. in psychology (COLA)? Which is what I really want to do. I just don’t want to stay as an education major/have to go to College of Education orientation lol like I wanna change my major ASAP, I’d even rather be undeclared than education.

Sounds like you needed to think about it a little more before you applied. No one can tell you what your chances are for switching to UGS or COLA for Psych. You’ll just have to decide to appeal or not. Good luck!
