How does reciprocity work at UConn?

I am a current high school student from Rhode Island. None of my state schools offer neuro-biology & Physiology, so I applied to UConn hoping to take advantage of the discount due to reciprocity. Has anyone else done this? How does it work?

Also, since I am hoping to go to med school after I major in Neurobiology, do you think this is an appropriate major?
