I want to volunteer at a hospital/Red Cross this summer, but I'm afraid colleges will think I'm just doing some last minute volunteer work, as I have hardly any hours right now, like 20 hours. I have an internship currently and will be continuing it this summer. As of now, I have about 75 hours of interning, by June I should have about 110 hours AT LEAST. Should I use my free hours volunteering or interning?

its better than not doing anything...i say it looks good

It's better than nothing. Personally, I would intern because I feel like I'd get more out of that. But do what you feel like would be best for YOU.

I think you should do what you like best. If you have an opportunity to volunteer at something that interests, you go for it. If you're doing it just to pad your resume, do something else. Interning is probably more impressive if it is in the field you plan on majoring.
