How does superscoring work?

Hi,

I got the following set of SAT results:

October:
M: 750
CR: 720
W: 720
Total: 2190

December:
M: 760
CR: 660
W: 760
Total: 2180

Although my second score is lower than my first, my superscore is 2240. I wanted to know whether universities that superscore will consider the drop in my CR score to be a little bit alarming, or whether they will completely disregard it and look at the best scores from each section. Do they ONLY look at your highest individual scores from each sitting, or do they take into account the fluctuation between sittings?

Also, when using score choice, do I send scores by individual sections or do I have to send the entire set from a sitting?

Score Choice doesn’t let you separate sections. You can only send complete tests from one sitting.

Meh, either way, if the college says they superscore, they shouldn’t care.
