Barron's SAT 2400: Aiming for the perfect score ($11)
PR 11 Practice tests for the New SAT ($20)
and a PR vocab learning book($15)

Will this get me up 300 points from a 1970 to a 2250? I really need to know before I buy these books.

I think they'll definitely help, but you'll have to do the work...not the books. Those are all great books.

Do you have the College Board tests? If you haven't taken those, that would be a grand idea. The PR tests are great, though, perfect if you've already taken CB.

Great user name, btw!

I don't really trust the blue book because there is no reason for Collegeboard to help people score higher on their own tests. I think the PR book is real tests tho but with better explanations.

I forgot, the PR vocab book is the 2006 Word Smart.

The PR tests aren't the real tests...they're created by PR. They're very close to the real test, though. And yeah, the explanations are very helpful.

The blue book just has tests, retired actual tests, no strategy. Why distrust them? They're just tests!
