<p>When I called the Admissions Office regarding Honors, they told me that UCD selects its Honors candidates from the top 4% of the students who submit a SIR. Can anyone confirm that?</p>
<p>UCSB sent me a letter about a month ago inviting me to their Honors program so I wasnt sure if UCD has a different process.</p>
<p>It seems that the adviser you spoke to was talking about the Integrated Scholars Program (ISP) UC</a> Davis - Integrated Studies - Invitational Honors Program since it is an invite only program to the very top students who are admitted.</p>
<p>The Davis Honors Challenge (DHC) UC</a> Davis Honors Challenge reviews students in a much different way. Please see the website for their review process and application deadlines.</p>
<p>looking at that site it seems like the deadline has already passed to apply for DHC. If i'm interested should i just talk to an advisor @ orientation?</p>
<p>I know the early decision deadline has passed but, I thought the fall deadline was 5/30/2008. The difference being that early decisions students are notified of their admission to DHC before the SIR deadline. Students who apply before the regular deadline will hear by the end of June.</p>
