How does UPitt's guaranteed admission work? How competitive do you have to be for it?

Okay, I just read a post here about how someone got into UPitt recently and I got inspired to apply, lol.

I started filling out my application when I saw they automatically consider you for a bunch of stuff, including guaranteed admission into medical school! (and omg their med school is like amazing)

So what should I do if I'm aiming for this? How obvious do I need to be? I'm using my NMSF essay which is about how I want to study medicine. Then should i have my science teacher write my rec? She probably will talk about how I'm going to benefit the world through my pursuit of medicine...and my love of biology...so sound good?

Anyone know the chances of getting a guaranteed transfer to med school through a freshman application? anyone ever get one or hear of something getting one? Is it like super competitive/rare or what? Please help, thanks!

Oh yeah this might sound a little superficial/cocky, but I probably wouldn't attend UPitt unless I got either A) a full ride, or B) a guaranteed admission deal because my parents would never pay for it, they'd rather I stay at our in-state safety school, and I wouldn't be able to justify it to myself asking my parents to pay that much.

The guaranteed admission to the medical school is very hard to get. If your SAT is 1450 or above (M/CR), you would be in line for a full-tuition scholarship.

What about guranteed to their law school? Would 1480/1600 and a 3.9 GPA be ok for that?

When are the available dates of the med school interview?
