What percentage is an A, A-,B+, B... at your school? Do they also round grades?

At my school:
97and above: A+
93 and above: A
89.5 and above: A-
I don’t know the rest cause i havent gotten below those…

97-100 a+
93-96 a
90-92 a-
87-89 b+
83-86 b
80-82 b-
77-79 c+
73-76 c
70-72 c-
67-69 d+
63-66 d
60-62 d-
00-59 f

Is A+ a 4.0?

my school doesn’t grade A+ or A-
90~100 A
80~89 B
70~79 C
…

depending on the teacher 89.5 can also be an A
but its very unlikely

Man… At my school we don’t have A+'s…

94-100 A
85-89.9 B+
80-84.9 B
and so on…

I hate the grading policy in my district -____-

You guys have such nice grading systems

100 A+
95-99.9 A
93-94.9 A-
91-92.9 B+
87-90.9 B
85-86.9 B-
83-84.9 C+

Have no idea below that
Plus, we have zero grade inflation and no weighting for class rank. The top two are always kids who take the easy classes and get a good GPA

Mine grades in stars: 5 stars, 4 stars, 3 stars, and so on.

^I almost believed you there for a second

We have no A+

92.5-100 is an A

89-92.5 is an A-

85-89 is a B+

But if you take AP classes, an A can go as low as 89 for some classes

Just 0-100, with a weight on honors and AP courses.

Rainbow=Great Job

Sunshine=Okay

Rain Cloud=Bad Job

Tornado= Loser

I have straight rainbows.

I’m sorry if I sound noobish, but are colleges aware of these grading differences?
I mean, last semester I had a 89.88% in APUSH. I asked my teacher to bump it up .12% to an A-… He said no -____-

And we have no weighted GPA or class rank at my school.

^^ haha xD i wanna go to your school!

I just realized that most schools don’t round grades to the nearest decimal. My school rounds, so an 89.88 would round to a 90. An 88.49 would suck, of course.

I’m serious!

^impossible! total bs! XD

No A+'s
A: 93% and up
A-: 90-92%
B+: 87-89%
B: 83-86%
B-: 80-82%

Rinse and repeat. This takes rounding into effect, so an 89.5 is an A- and a 92.5 is an A, and so on.

4.0/90-100 A
3.0/80-89 B
2.0/70-79 C
0-69 F

+1 on GPA for AP classes. bam

No +/-
A 93-100
B 85-92
C 75-84
D 70-74
F 0-69
I’d give anything to be on a 10 point grading scale instead of this monstrosity.
