<p>Within the same school that is. I got in for PoliSci and am now thinking I wanna major in Econ. Is it possible to do this before school even starts and if not, how long do I have to stick with my intended major before I can switch? Thanks</p>
<p>You don’t have a major until you declare one. I didn’t start out in Weinberg, but I think even if you indicate an intended major on your application you are NOT automatically declared as such. Therefore, you are free to switch as you like. In fact, it’s not really switching since you weren’t declared to begin with.</p>
