How easy is it to purchase a gun in the US?

Whose fault is it when a driver without a license is driving 200 mph and crashes?

The driver's? Should we make laws that limit speeds and require licenses?

bs2,
I believe you have to be a U.S. citizen to legally purchase a firearm.

So purchasing one isnt as simple as it looks like.

You can probably check out the laws regarding purchase and posession of firearms from this ATF site:
<a href="http://www.atf.treas.gov/firearms/%5B/url%5D">http://www.atf.treas.gov/firearms/</a></p>

It helps if you have a dealer's license, but you do have to be a citizen for that and you have to pass a backround check

"The driver's? Should we make laws that limit speeds and require licenses?"

We should have those laws, but also no one has the constitutional right to drive a car

Besides, the Autoban is one of the safest highways in the world, and it doesn't have a speed limit

^haha, thats because German's are damned good drivers

Indeed they are. And there are som damned good marksmen over here too

uh huh...I actually shot with this guy who was a pilot for the German Airforce...they flew over here for a bit, and the smallest thing he could fit under his cockpit was a .410 shotgun...and lemme tell ya, he destroyed with that thing, I had a 12 and he still broke the same targets

^wow. that's impressive.

A gun is only as safe as its operator, just like anything else
