We are on the Great Depression.

chapter 28 to 33 test on 9 hours, ahhhh

Starting WWI tomorrow.

Chapter 18 in the book.
Yes.
Chapter 18.
my teacher is a ******.

WE're on Chapter 27 ended reconstruction and going on imperialismm..

hmm....itll be a miracle if we finish.

What book are you guys using?

We're using Norton: A People & A Nation.

gonna take WWI/Great Depression/WWII test next monday. our teacher has the whole year planned out so that we finish our entire textbook by spring break. it's craziness (not to mention we have to take crazy loads of booknotes every other night.. -_-)

Just finished Progressive Era, entering into WWI.

Just took a test on a Great Depression... majorly behind... the other teach in our school i think is on the Cold War, like 3 chapters ahead of us in the textbook

:) That's great that most of you are close to where my class is. Awesome for people who are ahead, and good luck to people whose classes are behind - we have two US teachers in my school and mine is a new one who only has one class, while the other is more exprience but his kids don't learn anything in depth and didn't know andrew jackson was. A lot of them are self-studying to catch up.

I'll pick up an AMSCO book soon. I've been rereading course-notes.com's outlines for my textbook of each chapter - is that also a good way to review? Have any of your reviewed with course-notes.com for an AP? I only used a Princeton book for euro last year and it was ok but I needed a little more info.

Great Depression

We are currently finishing up the Progressive Era and heading into World War I.

Started WWII this week.

Starting the roaring twenties monday

Starting the Great Depression on Monday.

Past WWII, going into the korean war and cold war

We're reeeeeeeeeeeeallly behind.... We're on WW1.

we're ridiculously behind... just starting proressivism/reform/new deal. i think our teacher realizes it though because we've gone from reading 1-2 chapters a week to 4. haha.
i don't think we'll be getting to WWI until april. there's no way we're going to finish in time!
good thing i'm reviewing on my own, or i'd be screwed...

Starting WWII monday... teacher says we should finish the book by the end of March
We're using "The American Pageant" btw... boring book with lots of irrelevant garbage. Considering picking up AMSCO and/or REA. What do you guys think? I've been reading coursenotes, apnotes, and apusnotes but I still feel horribly unprepared and my APUSH grade is not what I want it to be.

My class just elected JFK.

^ I find the slightly irrelevant details in Pageant quite helpful because they somehow drill the main idea into my head, while I wouldn't retain much by simply reading important things. That being said, AMSCO is awesome and is perfect for quick review. However, if you want to be more thoroughly prepared, just read Pageant again.
