How far are you in AP US HISTORY?

just finished the Korean War

everyone is flipping out that they're behind and at WWI or Great Depression
my yearlong APUSH class just finished reconstruction
(and our teacher thinks we'll be ready for the AP exam in 2 months)

Yeah, we're using Pageant, too. Probably the most common textbook for APUSH. CC Lurker, it's great that the details help you remember - some of my friends are that way as well. But for me, they're a distraction from the main point, and I really wish we used AMSCO, since there are so many positive reviews for it. Just got the Crash Course book, however, and I really like it. I'm getting AMSCO as well - ordered it yesterday.

Roaring Twenties

We're in the Progressive Era/ Imperialism, but its a 1 semester course.

just started chapter 17.CHAPTER 17!!!!! my teacher is really really bad. i hate HIM!!!! :/
he does nothing in the class.he just keeps on wasting our time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is that Chapter 17 (Manifest Destiny) in Pageant?

We've got midterms next week, and the beginning of ch 30 [pageant] will be on there. I thought we were way behind, but maybe that's just the way it is in this class. It sounds like everyone is basically around there.

I thought we would have trouble finishing for euro last year too, but it actually works out well to go slower in the beginning and faster at the end because its easier to remember the things you've done recently.

WW1 (ch. 34 in pagaent?)

We're on Ch. 37, using American Pageant.

41 in the American Pageant

lol we used to use american pageant, but last year our school changes to 'american people'. anyways, we just took our unit exam on ww ii.

i'm actually not worried at all for the ap exam - people who typically get b's in his class get 5's. i've had a high a (96, and 95) throughout this year so i'm really not worried.
