Lol. I’m a female, 5’5" and like 100 pounds. I’m Terribly underweight.

i’m 5’3.5 and 100.4 pounds, yeah underweight…

I’m 4’11" and have recently developed my own gravitational pull, yet I can run a marathon in about an hour.

@98 you’re only a little underweight. We weigh exactly the same but I’m like 2 inches taller… Supposedly I should be 20 pounds heavier.

I’m a bit chubby, at 5’7 and 151 lbs. I guess it’s because I don’t have any athletic ECs.

I have started eating healthier and exercising though.

^ nice :).

I’m fairly skinny, about 6’2 and 160 pounds. Track and Cross-Country keep me in good shape.

5’8" 145-150lb. Gained 20 lbs over the course of junior year, and i’m trying to get and stay at 160ish.

4:47 mile get at me op. also i am underweight but whatever having a high metabolism has its perks

^ I find that REALLY hard to believe, but congrats if it is the case.

“you’re only a little underweight. We weigh exactly the same but I’m like 2 inches taller… Supposedly I should be 20 pounds heavier.”

@bks actuallu you should be ten pounds heavier (so they say), 5 pounds for every inch

^thanks c:

I love how eloquently the OP phrased the question

WOT? 17.5 is, I believe, an underweight BMI!

EDIT: They deleted it…

BMI is a very bad indicator of healthy weight. it doesn’t take into account the bone mass, metabolism rate, etc.

@stressedoutt: I thought perhaps the ratio of waist to height was probably better, but I didn’t suggest it since so many people had already answered with BMIs…

Body fat % is not perfect but it’s better than BMI for sure. BMI is worthless.

I’m a girl, 5’3", used to be underweight. Freshman year, I passed my scho’s ridiculous “fitness” assessment by wearing 10-pound ankle weights underneath my gym sweats :D

But my dad has gotten me into weight training so I’ve gained a lot of lean muscle ^^ currently 110 pounds but training to get up to 115 (muscle of course, not fat.)

Are there any P90X or Insanity folks on here?

Oh, Insanity… I can quote that entire infomercial. Thanks, oh summer of boredom. Did it actually work?

Yeah, my BMI is almost 19 or something. But i’m 5’1", barely (if even) 100lbs., and just very thin w/ a small frame. It’s really not all it’s cracked up to be.
