@Rain
I know. It seems everyone here is just so “perfect”, so it makes me wonder how many are being completely honest (this is going to blow up in my face, lmao).

There were some people a few pages back with a BMI of about 15, actually. :)

True when you factor the age of people posting it doesn’t put it in a different perspective. Personally I like my guys big and tall but that’s just me. (Think Jason Momoa.) But I do love Alexander Skarsgard. Where I live people aren’t really skinny. They’re normal.

my internal reaction to reading jimbo was 6’5 was: 1) well he goes to harvard, and 2) i bet he is more grown-up then the grown-upness level i assign to cc posters.

having a bmi of 18-20 isn’t ‘perfect’ it’s natural.

the damn production of processed sugar/grains/seed oils that has all colossally escalated in the last few centuries but which started with the agricultural revolution is what has made some people’s weight unnatural.

@Shadow I don’t think being 5’6 and less than 100 as perfect. To me, if I was that weight I wouldn’t be happy. I’m happy at my weight, I just need to tone up.

Exactly. A little toning couldn’t hurt me either, but I’m fine. This thread is kind of ridiculous, since there’s nothing wrong with having a BMI between 21-25, or even a little higher, depending on other factors. Which is why BMI is often unreliable.

I found my BMI over [here at WebMD](BMI Calculator for Men & Women: Calculate Your Body Mass Index), and apparently mine is 16.7. I’m 6’2" and weigh just shy of 130 pounds. Actually, I lost around ten or fifteen pounds during the April musical and while preparing for AP tests, which I’ll go ahead and attribute to stress and depression, so generally, I’m right at the bottom of what WebMD asserts is the “healthy” range.

God, though; people these days! I’m not sure if those of us who are a little more, ahm, corpulent than others don’t know they look revolting, or if they just don’t care.

So…because I weigh more than 110 pounds I look revolting? dang dude.
I did the BMI thing and looks like I’m healthy. Who knew healthy looked revolting.

FawkesGoldman, being as frail as you isn’t impressive? I bet you pull in all the girls with your skinny abs, noticeable ribs, and bony structure?

Obviously, fat people know they look bad. It’s people like you that make it hard for them. Take it from someone who was 178 pounds at 5’5 last year, that it’s not easy to lose weight. We lose motivation. We say to ourselves, “Nobody likes us anyway, they all just think we’re fat, they look down upon us, what’s the point of even attempting to lose it?”.

Imo, the truly revolting people, are the ones that look emaciated, and half dead.

Rob, that’s reeeally unhealthy to gain that much weight during an off-season.

My son is 5’9" and weighs 106. Seriously. Not anorexic. He just ate a HUGE bowl of CocoPuffs. But super-super thin. His brother is almost as thin, but he gets more exercise.
